About Bruce

Bruce Carver grew up in Illinois with a family that taught him how to hunt and enjoy the outdoors. After college he worked for John Deere for 35+ years retiring in Oct 2008. During his career he always found time to stay very active in shooting, sporting clays, big game and upland bird hunting.

Since his retirement he has been certified as a NRA instructor, a NRA Range Safety Officer, and attended the NC Concealed Carry Handgun (CCH) instructor training. He instructs the training necessary to obtain the “NC Concealed Carry Handgun” permit, “How to deal with a Home Invasion”, and “Children classes on Firearm Safety”. He will be the instructor of all classes. He holds classes in Holly Springs and serve Raleigh, Cary, Fuquay Varina, Holly Springs, all cities in Wake County, and all counties in North Carolina.

Bruce has law enforcement experience and will freely share his knowledge on defensive shooting and fine points of marksmanship.

He has owned, hunted and trained Brittanys since his college days. He spends 3 weeks in South Dakota every fall pursuing his favorite pastime of pheasant hunting with his current Brittanys (Rusty & Buddy)(Father & Son).
